East Brookfield, Massachusetts

Your Local Plumbing & Heating Team

East Brookfield is the closest town to our shop of any we serve — straight down Route 9, about ten minutes. People call it the Baby Town of the Commonwealth, since it didn't become its own town until 1920, but its houses and its plumbing are a good deal older than its town line.

It's also a town that mostly runs on its own equipment. There's no municipal sewer here — East Brookfield homes are on septic — and while the village center has a small town water system, the rest of town draws from private wells. That's not a complaint; it just means the plumber you call should genuinely understand wells, pressure tanks, and what a septic system will and won't forgive. We do.

From the homes around Lake Lashaway to the places out along Podunk Road, we handle plumbing and heating both, quote the whole job in writing before we start, and test the work before we head back up Route 9.

Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM · Sat 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Sun 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We work to accommodate emergencies.

East Brookfield Plumbing & Heating FAQs

Do you really come out to East Brookfield?
It would be strange if we didn't — East Brookfield is the next town over, about ten minutes from our Spencer shop on Route 9. It's the closest town we serve. Family-owned, 22+ years in Worcester County, 4.9 stars on Google. Call (833) 969-4330.
Is my East Brookfield house on town water or a well?
If you're in the village center, there's a good chance you're on the town's small water system, which runs on a well of its own off Podunk Road. Outside the village, you're almost certainly on a private well. It matters because a pressure problem starts in a different place on each — and we work on both.
Does East Brookfield have town sewer?
No — the town runs on septic systems, and that changes how a plumber should work. Drain problems get cleared mechanically instead of with harsh chemicals, and any plan to add fixtures has to respect what the septic system was designed to handle. We treat the septic as part of the plumbing, because here it is.
My basement near the lake takes on water — is that fixable?
Usually, yes. Homes near Lake Lashaway and the low ground around it sit close to the water table, and a properly sized sump pump with a discharge routed well away from the foundation — and never into the septic — handles most of it. We'd rather size it after seeing the basement in a wet week than guess in a dry one.
Do you work on oil heat?
No — we don't hold an oil license, so oil burners aren't ours to touch, and out this way there are still plenty of them. What we can do is install the propane or gas system that replaces one when you're ready to switch. We'll tell you plainly which side of that line your job is on. Call (833) 969-4330.
