What We Handle

Gas is the one trade where good enough does not exist. A line is either sized correctly, joined correctly, tested, and permitted, or it is a problem waiting for a bad day. That is why this work is licensed, and why we do not cut corners on any part of it regardless of how small the job looks.

Most gas calls fall into a few buckets. Somebody bought a gas range and there is no line to it. A remodel moved the kitchen and the old line is in the wrong place. A water heater or heating system is being replaced and the supply needs to be right for the new unit. Or existing piping has aged and needs repair.

Every line we run gets sized for the appliance load it has to carry, pressure-tested before it ever delivers gas, and installed with the proper permits so the work is inspected and documented. That paperwork matters more than people expect, particularly when a house is sold or an insurance question comes up.

What should I do if I smell gas in the house?
Leave the house immediately. Do not flip light switches, unplug anything, light a flame, or go hunting for the source. Once you are outside and away from the building, call your gas utility's emergency line or 911 and let them make it safe. After that is handled, call us at (833) 969-4330 for the repair work.
Can a plumber run a gas line for my stove?
A licensed one can, and that is exactly the kind of work we do. Running a line for a range means sizing it for the appliance, joining and supporting it correctly, pulling the permit, and pressure-testing before it carries gas. It is a routine job done properly, and a serious one done carelessly.
Do I need a permit for a gas line?
Yes, and we pull them as part of the job rather than leaving it to you. A permitted, inspected installation is documented work, which protects you if there is ever an insurance claim or a home sale. Unpermitted gas work is a problem that tends to surface at the worst possible moment.
How do I know if my existing gas line can handle another appliance?
By calculating the load, which is what we do before adding anything. A line has a limit, and hanging one more appliance on a line already at capacity can starve everything connected to it, including your heat. Guessing here is not acceptable, so we size it properly before any work goes in.
Can I get natural gas if my street does not have it?
That part is up to the gas utility, since whether service reaches your street is their determination and not something we control or promise. Where gas service is available, we handle everything on the house side, from the meter through the piping to each appliance. If it is not available, we will say so plainly.
