What should I do before the plumber gets there?

Can you camera-scope my sewer line?
Yes. A camera down the line replaces guessing with looking. It shows us whether a drain that keeps backing up is grease, roots, a sag in the pipe, or a break — and each of those is a different fix at a very different cost. Scoping first is how you avoid paying for the wrong repair. It is also worth doing before you buy an older house.
Do you replace sewer lines?
Yes — repair where the pipe allows it, replacement where it does not. We scope the line first so the decision rests on what the camera shows rather than on anyone's guess. A cracked section can sometimes be repaired on its own. A line that has collapsed, rotted through, or filled with roots along its length is a replacement, and we will show you the footage that says so.
Should I keep repairing old pipes or replace them?
It comes down to how often you are calling and what the pipe is made of. One pinhole in otherwise sound copper is a repair.
